Who can resist the nostalgia of visiting a duck pond with a hand-full of bread crumbs?
Who would say no to a round of miniature golf or croquet?
Who wouldn't love to chase a friend through a maze of hedges?
Who doesn't have time to stop and smell the roses?

Who would say no to a weekend away with the family, rocking on a porch swing, surrounded by green grass and a gentle, scented breeze?

With landscape artists and students from the four corners of the globe, the international Garden festival is a multi-faceted event which targets a public as vast and varied as the activities program. The crux of the festival is simple: the park, originally designed by Jacques Wirtz, is made up of 26 parcels delineated by hedges, with approximately 240m² per parcel. Since 1992, the Chaumont-sur-Loire château's park has been a canvas for contemporary, creative landscaping projects.

Themed gardens, gardens for children, outdoor "all-natural" theatres, prototypes of the gardens of tomorrow - a dream-like, wonderful learning experience. Close your eyes, relax, and smell the roses…
