Actors in the spotlight!Taking place in the heart of the Maine-et-Loire region, the Anjou Festival is one of France's top theatre events. Taking place outdoors, the festival will feature a rich programme of shows. The Anjou festival will be setting up shop in some the region's most prestigious heritage sites, including the Plessis-Macé château. This festival has over the years become THE rendezvous for theatre-lovers in the region, drawing in excess of 23 000 visitors every year. Run by art director Jean-Claude Brialy for 15 years, and then Francis Perrin, today the mastermind behind the festival is Nicolas Briançon.
