Caravaggio sojourns in France.

This summer, Caravaggio is featured in several museums including the Musée des Augustins in Toulouse. This international exhibition focuses on the Nordic Caravaggio school.

The museum walls will showcase works organised by theme: Late Mannerism and the emergence of the Caravaggio school (the Caravaggisti) in the Netherlands, the Utrecht School, Mathias Stom, Flanders and the Caravaggisti, Dutch history painting and a collection of Caravaggisti drawings.

The first followers and friends including Manfredi and the Gentileschi (father and daughter) will be presented in Montpellier.
