- Isadora Duncan (1877 - 1927) "A Living Sculpture" - exhibition

From Friday, November 20 2009 to Sunday, March 14 2010

Homage to the muses of Antoine Bourfelle

The Bourdelle Museum has put together a major expo dedicated to Isadora Duncan, a pioneer in the world of professional dance. The exhibition will be broken into five chapters, so to speak, that will tell you her life story. Learn about her fascination with ancient Greece and the countless projects she has been a part of. The collection of photographs, sketches and sculptures inspired by the graceful dancer will help to convey the influence she had on her contemporaries, including Antoine Bourdelle.

Curators:
Juliette Laffon
Hélène Pinet
Stéphanie Cantarutti
