Prévert's first retrospective exhibition…

The Paris town hall is organising an exhibition dedicated to the life and work of Jacques Prévert.

All artistic facets of this poet will be in the limelight: drawings, collages, photography work, manuscripts, compositions, films, lyrics… Prévert's personal objects (books, CDs, letters) will also be on display.

The exhibition will also feature a number of photo-portraits of Prévert signed by some of the great names of the industry, along with film and radio interviews.

Prévert was an original, a marginal of his time: aligned with surrealism, a friend of Giacometti and Yves Montand, painted by Picasso and photographed by Doisneau, and a 1968 activist, He produced some of the most important works of his era.
