Coming up roses.In the stunning setting of the Chaalis Abbey, steeped in seven centuries of history, this event will be a garden of Eden for professional and amateur gardeners and rose-lovers. Nurserymen, rose growers and exhibitors selling garden tools and accessories will be at the Chaalis. They will be displaying and selling their best plants and giving professional advice.The Chaalis rose garden will be at full bloom during the festival and head gardener and landscape artist Andre Gamard will be giving guided tours. Visits can find out about his work, stroll around this 3,500m² haven of peace and discover a number of different roses specially selected for their beautiful smell and their delicate colours.
