Art from the eleventh and twelfth centuries.Installed since 1939 in the fourteenth and sixteenth century buildings given over to the administration of the cathedral since the thirteenth century, the museum presents the evolution of the arts in Strasbourg and across the region between the eleventh and seventeenth centuries. The museum features masterpieces of sculpture from the Middle Ages from the cathedral, major regional works of art from the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries (Conrad Witz, Nicolas Gerhaert de Leyde, Hans Baldung Grien), glass collections, tapestries, metalwork and furniture as well as still lifes by Sébastien Stoskopff.
