Open for over 160 years, the Cour d’or museums give visitors a fabulous museum experience with plenty of major works, mostly from the region, from Roman Antiquity to the 20th century.Sculptures, paintings and antique archaeological testimonials are spread over the site in various rooms with sometimes unusual décor. In 1977, the library moved to another site, providing the museum with more space, more suited to their collections: the museums have invested in the Chèvremont attics, the old abbaye des Petits Carmes and the little église des Trinitaires.
