As Alexander Legrand had wished it, the Benedictine Palace in Fécamp has an unusual, motley appearance at first glance. It was here that Alexander rediscovered the recipe for an "elixir", a liquor known as la Bénédictine, developed by Dom Bernardo Vincelli during the Renaissance. The edifice is the result of a magical fusion between art and industry as the palace reflects the combination of Gothic and a revived art world. This exceptional construction is made up of 5 spaces: the art museum at first; then the Alexander Legrand Hall, in which are displayed the first promotional projects retrieved by the brand's founder; the herbalist's shop, scented with plants and spices; the distillery, where the magical elixir was produced; and finally the contemporary art hall which hosts temporary exhibitions.
