The Palais de Tau is the old archbishop's palace dated to the 12th century and redesigned in 1690. It is today home to the Musée de l'Œuvre, a display of artwork from the cathedral's history. Admire a veritable treasure trove of tapestries, statues and other ornaments displayed in a chronological sequence, illustrating the cathedral's history of coronation ceremonies. Be sure to visit the Tau Hall, or Salle du Tau, where banquets were held after the ceremony.
