On foot, in a horse-drawn carriage or traveling by river, visitors will arrive at one of two panoramic viewpoints or at the foot of a waterfall. They will be amazed by the breathtaking setting of one of the most important natural sites in Franche-Comté.Here, the Doubs River descends to its natural level, which is lower than that of Chaillexon Lake, by falling 27 meters. Visitors will hear a rumbling roar and see the white, churning foam against the green of moss-covered rocks as the water approaches the edge. The pools below add a touch of blue to this spectacular composition.
