Hotels Saint Malo
A two-day trip
Two days is just about enough time to get to know the town of Saint Malo and what it has to offer. Premiere Classe Hotel – Saint Malo – Saint Jouan des Guerets is just a short walk from the intramuros (a walled city perched on a granite island) – the town’s star attraction with its atmospheric narrow streets, bustling bars, restaurants and shops. Spend day one strolling around and taking all its beauty in, while stopping off at the Chateau de Saint Malo which acts as a town hall and a museum. Make sure you check out Cathedrale Saint Vincent and Porte Saint Vincent as well. For your second day why not head to Porte de Dinan where you can take a boat trip up the river to Dinan and west along the coast to Cap Frehel. If that’s not enough then there is also the world’s first tidal power station nearby that attracts 200,000 visitors a year.
A one-week break
A whole gives you the perfect amount of time to get the most out of your visit to Saint Malo as well as giving you time to venture out to the surrounding region of Brittany. Outside the walled town lies several sandy beaches that provide great views of Saint Malo. The region of Brittany has plenty of other places to visit from Rennes to the island of Ushant. A real highlight and worth the trip is the city of Nantes, the historical capital of the region. With a vast array of churches, castles and museums, as well as places of historical note, such as the former shipyard the Isle of Nantes, you wont regret your decision !
