Hotels Honfleur
Two-day break:
One of the most impressive sights in Honfleur is Saint Catherine’s Church, the oldest wooden church in France. Built just after the Hundred Years War, the church has a bell tower built separately from the main building. This was so if the bell was hit by lightening the main body of the wooden church wouldn’t burn down. It is less than a 10-minute drive from the Premiere Classe Hotel Honfleur, or can be reached by a 20-minute walk.
Seven-day break
About a kilometre outside the town s the Notre Dame de Grace Mont Joli, a beautiful old church with a fantastic view. The walk from town is also a chance to get a bit of exercise. Near to Saint Catherine’s Church is the Musee Eugene Boudin, a charming little art museum with a number of Boudin works and a few Monets. This is a great visit for anyone with even a passing interest in art.
Family Holiday
A half-hour walk from the Premiere Classe Hotel Honfleur is NaturoSpace, a charming wildlife display that is great for all members of the family. This visit is great value for money and features a wide range of types of wildlife from numerous species of butterfly to quail and other birds. You and you family can spend at least half a day here discovering all the animals NaturoSpace has to offer.
