A two-day break
Two days is enough time to see most of the reasons Chantilly is so popular. Even if you’re not a gambler, Chantilly Racecourse is a must-see, if only because of its history. It has been there since the late 1800s and is a huge part of the culture here. It also houses the Living Horse Museum and the Grand stables. Be sure to take a stroll down to the Nonette River in Chantilly centre. While you are there, visit the 17th century Manse Pavillion. This beautiful building houses a hydraulic machine that pumps water to the fountains, basins and waterfalls in the chateau’s park.

A week-long stay
With a whole week you will have time to see all the attractions. The Premiere Classe Hotel Chantilly Sud - Luzarches is ideally situated for exploring the nearby Chantilly Forest, which covers 6,300 hectares. The dense forest’s inhabitants include numerous species of plant, wild boar, deer and doe. Château de Chantilly is an opulent palace that has been built over several centuries. The lavish gardens are adorned with flowers and fountains and inside the chateau you will find one of the best art galleries in France, Musée Condé.

A family holiday
Part of the parkland at the chateau, Potager des Princes is a beautiful area with rabbits, goats, chickens and ducks. It is dotted with pretty bridges and decorative fountains.
