- Look, we were only there as an overnight stop and the hotel was cheap - Euro35 for a night. Basic is fine when you just need somewhere to sleep. But there were a few problems that make that are simply not good enough. The hotel was filthy and our room smelled pretty bad (our kids room next door was ok). The heater in the room didn't work. We were also at the rear of the hotel and the main plant for the hotel is outside the rear of the hotel and was incredibly noisy. Every 20 minutes it was literally like an airplane taking off (yes, I know we were next to an airport and it wasn't an actual airplane...). In a quick overnight stop you want a clean room, quiet, warm, clean bedlinen and comfortable bed. Nothing more. The problem is you have to have all of these and whilst the bed was fine and bedlinen clean, you cannot sleep in a noisy room.

On the not so positive, I couldn't find how to regulate the Air conditioning. Found out this morning it is on the system itself, but you have to be tall to reach it.
Overall, it was very quiet, but you need to know that it is close to a small airport and you can hear the planes every so often and since it is close to a main road, you can also hear a bit of traffic.
This Premiere Classe hotel would not be my first choice, but it is good value for money. Got a great deal for my overnight stay: €33.00 with breakfast.AMINE B, Directeur général at Premiere Classe Lyon Est - Bron Eurexpo, responded to this reviewMonsieur Bonjour,

- If your a midget who loves cramped spaces, particularly if you enjoy minuscule shower units on top of your toilet, then you will Love this place.
Of course I shouldn't forget ex-prison inmates who would find a 9sqm bedroom huge. No amenities and tiny TV and little desk and seating area.
Breakfast was bread, butter, cheese, jam and coffee only. No eggs or meat of any description. Vending machines for all other needs.
Staff very friendly and very obliging. Hotel was clean and well Maintained. For € 55 per
Night it was overpriced but it's near the Expo centre so you have little other options unless your filthy rich and your willing to pay well in excess of €200 for staying 8 hours in a room. This is a working mans hotel with all rooms exposed to the great outdoors. Not for couples or single Ladies.AMINE B, Directeur général at Premiere Classe Lyon Est - Bron Eurexpo, responded to this reviewHello sir,

- Stayed a week here and yes it is basic, small bathroom, could be a bit cramped for two and a simple breakfast. There is a bus stop outside, number 79 will take you to the shops and metro links. Bus number 3 will link up with the tram to get to the train station.
Treat this as a motel with off road parking.

Only good thing was effective airconditioning and the staff were quite pleasant.
Would not stay here again.
