- This hotel is ready to be closed down unless somebody deceides to invest some money in renovation. The room was very bad, doors can not close properly, bath/toilet in a very narrow space. The young girl in the reception do not understand anything as French language. If it has not been for the man next morning, taking care of the breakfast, which was very OK, this place would not get one point. He was very friendly and kept attention on every guest and his breakfast buffet. But as always, you normally get what you pay for.

- Part of the Louvre chain with easy automated check-in, keycard delivery allowing access to rooms when front desk unmanned. Good balance between budget price and comfortable bed, adequate shower, WC, well insulated against noise allowing a good night's sleep. As for room size, a couple with a lot of suitcases would find it a little cramped for more than a night but reasonably safe parking in front makes it not an insurmountable difficulty.

- I was passing through Europe and needed a simple place to stay the night. To get some sleep and continue my drive. So i picked this hotel. Honestly maybe the biggest mistake in my life. It wasn't really clean, the beds were worn out. It's noisy as can be. It's like sleeping in a freight container. Please don't make the same mistake i made. Just drive through the night...

- I'm not usually fussy about en route stays but this was poor.
The room was dingy and unwelcoming. The location was next to a factory and there were no restaurants nearby save at the local supermarket (which was neither appealing nor appetising...nowhere near as good as Flunch...which says it all!)
Better to find another stop...perhaps nearer the town centre.

- This is a motel style hotel that provides an outside door for each room, so guests can come and go without passing a reception desk or being seen. This does seem to attract people who wish to use the hotel for sexual activity. Given that the walls are quite thin, you might become aware of what is happening.
The rooms are decent sized and attractively laid out, with space for a third bed on the floor, rather than over the main bed. A downside of having an external corridor is that your window looks out on the corridor, so passers by can look directly into your room.
This hotel is usefully positioned near the motorway. The town of Vienne contains the Temple of Augustus and Livia, which is worth going to see before moving on. It's right in the town centre - you can drive to it, and pause the car long enough on the spacious and quiet streets around the temple to take photographs.
